New crop sweet corn is slowly making its way into the produce department. We have been getting corn from Mexico, but Coachella Valley is now harvesting. As with just about every other produce item, the wacky weather of winter and early spring has delayed the growth and the harvest, putting our desert corn about two weeks later than normal. Most Coachella Valley corn farmers grow super sweet corn
