Hotel Martinez Cannes

No city, save Las Vegas, owes so much to its hotels as Cannes does. Cannes without its ritzy hotels would not be Cannes, resort city par excellence. Built in 1929, the Hotel Martinez rivaled any along the coast in sheer size alone and has recently been fully renovated living up to its reputation as one of the grandest hotels on the Riviera. The hotel is situated on the famous La Croisette Promenade, and is just a few blocks from the excitement of the Palm Beach Casino and the Palais des Festivals center.

This superb art deco grand hotel, the favorite haunt of the star and the press, featuring restaurants overlooking the sea, including Le Relais Martinez, the piano bar L'Amiral, and the famous La Palme D'or gourmet restaurant.



It is the only hotel on the Croisette offering a heated outdoor pool (80 degrees year round), seven tennis courts and the largest private sandy beach in Cannes. During the day, you're just as likely to see a boat tied up to its private dock as a swath of scantily clad models in mid photo shoot.
