Pros: great location on the french riviera, luxury room and public areas, very friendly staff

Bottom line: I really enjoyed my stay at this luxury hotel. While some of the decorating was unusual, it was certainly interesting and wonderfully comfortable. One of the most pleasant and interesting hotel stays we have ever experienced was at the famous Negresco Hotel in Nice, France. A Riviera landmark, it sits proudly on its corner on the Promenade des Anglais, which is the major tourist street running parallel to the rocky beaches of Nice. The pink and green dome sitting atop the hotel makes it resemble a giant Belle Epoque wedding cake. It is the centerpiece of the entire area.
