This unique restaurant presents haute cuisine with no compromise
on the quality and range of produce. Only the finest in seasonal
produce is used in menus which change accordingly. Guests will find
traditional favourites to modern interpretations with a Mediterranean
flavour whilst the impeccable service is second to none offering
the consummate fine dining experience.
Breakfast begins with freshly squeezed juices - oranges from South
America, grapefruits flown in from Florida, freshly baked-breads
and pastries, poached seasonal fruits; The Ritz's specially blended
coffees and teas and of course, the incomparable Full English Breakfast
for the hearty appetite.
Fixed Price or à la carte Luncheon may be taken in the Restaurant
or on the Terrace and could include Baked Organic Tomato and Olive
Tart with Rocket and Parmesan Salad or a Leek and Truffle Terrine
to start. Main courses range from Seasonal Lamb, Fish of the day
with Fresh Mint and Leaf Spinach, to Roast Duckling with Baked Apple
and Foie Gras. Foie Gras, Lobster, smoked salmon, grilled
fish and meat can all be found on the à la carte menu in
delicious combinations or served simply by themselves. Evenings
provide the opportunity for guests to indulge in a truly magical
experience. Three or four course prix fixe or à la carte
menus provide a feast of options from Scampi Minestrone with Basil
and Haricots Blancs, to Marinated Dublin Bay Prawns with White Onion
Royale; Wild Salmon with Butternut Pumpkin and Celery Risotto or
perhaps a Fillet of Beef with Foie Gras and Mousseron Sauce. A sweet
indulgence to finish - Strawberries Jubilee with Fromage Blanc and
Lemon Sorbet, or Pistachio flavoured Crème Brûlée
both provide delicious variations on familiar themes. A superb wine
list offers an extensive selection to partner the cuisine.
The
classical elegance and refined
atmosphere of the hotel's two grand rooms provide beautiful settings
for meetings, conferences and private events for up to 100 guests.
The Marie Antoinette suite is the larger, with opulent gold leaf
and a sumptuous, mirrored interior that is said to replicate a room
at the Palace of Versailles. the ornately furnished Trafalgar suite
is delightful for intimate luncheons and dinners, accommodating
up to 20 guests. impeccable service is orchestrated to perfection
by a head waiter dedicated to each room. The
