excellent cuisine features mouth-watering natural foods fresh from
Jamaican sea and the island itself. Round Hill prepares only the
best fresh meat and fish plus hand chosed fruit and vegetables available
locally. All served with continental flair and a trace of Jamaican
spice. Dining during the day is casual and informal with emphasis
on enjoying Jamaica and Round Hill. Evenings here, however, are
not formal but casually elegant.
Mornings
are special, with breakfast cooked to order and served in bed or
overlooking the sea. Those guest staying in the Pineapple House
have the option of Room service or dining in the upstairs Georgian
Dining Terrace. In addition to breakfast prepared from 7:30am to
10:30am by the housekeepers in the Villas and the buffet breakfast
in the main dining area, room service is available to all Villas
and Hotel rooms throughout the day.
Lunches
are a casual, with a la carte items served on the terrace or
barbecue foods served on the beach from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. During
the day fresh fruit juices are served at the pool and beach bar.
A special blend of daily fresh fruits creates the "Round Hill
fruit punch" a favorite amongst the guests.
The
bartenders at the Beach Bar will mix you any cocktails from old
fashioned Martinis to rum-influenced cocktails. There is also a
wine list with a wide variety of wines from around the world.
A
variety of fine teas and the world famous Blue Mountain coffee are
available every afternoon in the Cocktail Bar from 4:00pm to 5:30pm
This is a complimentary service to all the Round Hill's guests.
Dinner
is served with a view of the sea, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm,
in the charming Georgian Dining Room or on the seaside terrace
overlooking Round Hill Bay. International cuisine is highlighted
by many Jamaican specialties. And you will find our sumptuous
buffets to be among the best anywhere! A la carte menus do change
on daily basis. Dress code after 7:00pm is informal, long trousers
and collard shirt for men, except for Mondays and Friday when
shorts are allowed.
The
Round Hill offers a special menu for Children, served from 10:30
a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Box Lunches: can be arranged during the day
by contacting the Restaurant Manager.
Entertainment
varies nightly and may include a bonfire lit beach picnic accompanied
by familiar calypso tunes, a four course dinner and romantic
dancing under the stars, or casual dining on Jamaican specialties
followed by a cabaret of folk music and dancing. Piano or Calypso
Music is played for you from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Cocktail
Bar and
