The atmosphere is relaxed and entertaining in the River Restaurant, where you can enjoy live band music in the evenings, piano music from Monday to Thursday and a band on Friday and Saturday. The River Restaurant is situated next to The Thames Foyer. Offering panoramic views over the Embankment Gardens and the River Thames, you will find it the ideal setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

One of London's most famous restaurants where people from the arts, the press, city and business meet to enjoy lunch or dinner amid the soft-lit warm yew panelling. The Savoy Grill is the perfect way to start an evening at the theatre.

The Upstairs Restaurant is situated on the first floor, with its long bar and large windows overlooking the front entrance and the bustle of The Savoy Courtyard - perfect for people watching. This is perfect for people-watching. A brasserie-style restaurant, seating is provided informally in tables for two and seats at the long marble counter.

The elegant Thames Foyer invites you to relax in comfortable armchairs gathered around low tables, surrounded by magnificent murals and Edwardian mirrors. It was here that Strauss conducted, Caruso sang and Pavlova danced.

 

The American Bar first opened in the late 1890´s and ever since has
been a stylish meeting place for hotel guests and Londoners alike.

In the 1920´s, The Savoy employed Harry Craddock, an American barman who played an important role in the 20´s London cocktail scene.

The Savoy's Afternoon Tea consists of a selection of sandwiches with a variety of fresh fillings, an array of delicate pastries and teacakes, and scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve.
The afternoon is enjoyed accompanied by the sounds of the resident pianist every afternoon Monday to Saturday and on Sunday the Thames Foyer hosts the famous Sunday Afternoon Tea Dance.
